Overview
Obly AI is a shared workspace that lets businesses and teams manage their domains, business email and team meetings in one place, on web and mobile.
I owned several core areas: the shared API and database architecture used by both clients, authentication and row-level security, email and mailbox management, calendar and invitation workflows, and real-time data updates.
On the integration side I connected Resend for email delivery and custom mailbox provisioning, Cloudflare for domain/DNS management and R2 storage, and Firebase Cloud Messaging for mobile push notifications. Domains can be connected either through delegated DNS or by configuring the required mail records at the user's existing registrar.
What mattered
- Single API + database serving web and mobile with row-level security
